Upload a GPS track and PaddleScout trims it into a clean map: your route, your pins, your photos. Private by default. Nothing is public unless you choose.
Why it exists
Most apps want an audience. The water doesn't, and neither do I.
PaddleScout began as a folder of GPX files and a quiet promise to myself: no one sees them unless I send them. It still works that way.
The low sun before the wind got up, the seal that followed you out, the friend who swore they'd never come again. Pin a photo where it happened, tag whoever you went with, and the day stays the way it felt.
On the map
Drop a pin where it counts. Name it if you like. Most don't need it; the colour says enough.
Shared by choice
Add a friend and they see what you send: a launch spot, a photo, a whole season. Nothing else. No public profile, no followers, no number going up. Or keep a paddle to yourself, and the water stays yours alone.
