How does the planning work?
For every spot you've saved, PaddleScout checks the forecast wind speed, gust and direction against the winds that spot is sheltered from, and floats the calmest to the top. You pick the spot in the lee, or a different morning, before you load the car.

It leans UK and Europe: the examples are Lake District, the forecast is Open-Meteo, the times are in your own zone. You can log a paddle anywhere; the launch-spot directory is filling out region by region.
