Grove Ferry Slip
Grove Ferry Slip is a public slipway on Bristol's Floating Harbour, near Phoenix Wharf and Redcliffe in the city centre. The Floating Harbour occupies the historic course of the River Avon, dammed and lock-controlled since 1809 so its water level no longer follows the tide. Bristol City Council requires an annual manually propelled craft licence to launch a paddleboard, canoe or kayak on the harbour.
