Shirehampton put-in (Bristol)
A slipway on the tidal River Avon at Shirehampton, on the estuarial stretch below Bristol's Floating Harbour locks and above Avonmouth. The Bristol Channel's tidal range is among the largest in the world, and this reach of the Avon dries to a muddy channel at low water.
