Gallions Reach put-in (Greater London)
This marked slipway sits on Gallions Reach, a tidal stretch of the River Thames off Basin Approach between Woolwich and Barking. The river here is fully tidal with strong streams over mudflats, and the Port of London Authority asks paddlers to notify London Vessel Traffic Services before setting out, especially after dark.
