Manse put-in (Kilchattan Bay)

This slipway sits at the small harbour in the village of Kilchattan Bay, on the south end of the Isle of Bute, launching onto a shallow bay of red sand and sandstone that opens to the Sound of Bute. There are several informal shoreside access points along the road besides the slip, and currents build around the headlands with a westerly wind that can funnel through from Stravanan.
