Tayinloan Ferry Slipway
This is the CalMac ferry slipway at Tayinloan on the west coast of Kintyre, the mainland terminal for the crossing to Ardminish on Gigha across the Sound of Gigha. The concrete slip is reached over a low-level bridge from the car park and queuing area, and sea kayakers have used it as a launch point for open crossings to Gigha and the smaller island of Cara.
