Pinkston Basin slipway
This slipway sits on the Forth and Clyde Canal at Pinkston in north Glasgow, on the site of Pinkston Watersports, a paddlesports centre built around a clean-water basin and Scotland's only artificial whitewater course. Pinkston Watersports is the Glasgow starting point of the Glasgow to Edinburgh Canoe Trail, which follows the canal towpath east. The slipway itself is not open for casual public launching; Pinkston's water-based activities are pre-booked.
