Filleam put-in (Loch Portain)
A slipway on Loch Portain, a convoluted sea loch on North Uist's north-east coast scattered with more than 200 islets and a mix of freshwater and saltwater habitats. It serves Lochportain, a small crofting and fishing community about nine miles from Lochmaddy, which also overlooks the adjoining freshwater Priest's Loch.
