Birsay put-in
This slipway sits on the shore road at the western end of Birsay village, about 650 metres from the tidal causeway to the Brough of Birsay. It launches onto Birsay Bay, the stretch of coast in front of the village that local businesses on this shore, including the Birsay Bay Tearoom, take their name from, with the tidal Sound of Birsay a short walk further along the shore.
