LakeJumbles Reservoir slipway (Jumbles Sailing Club)
Lancashire, EnglandJumbles Reservoir fills the Bradshaw Valley within Jumbles Country Park, between Bromley Cross and Chapeltown, and is fed in turn from Wayoh and Turton and Entwistle reservoirs upstream. United Utilities manages the reservoir and country park, and Jumbles Sailing Club launches dinghies, canoes and paddleboards from the northwestern shore.
LakeBelmont Reservoir slipway (Bolton Sailing Club)
Lancashire, EnglandBelmont Reservoir lies on the West Pennine Moors immediately north of Belmont village, built in 1826 by Bolton Waterworks and fed by Belmont Brook. This slipway sits on the promontory used by Bolton Sailing Club, an RYA-recognised training centre that runs racing and taster sessions through its membership.
